Safeguarding

At Holy Rosary we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the physical and mental welfare of every pupil in our school. We pride ourselves in delivering a whole-school preventative approach to managing safeguarding concerns, ensuring that the wellbeing of pupils is at the forefront of everything we do.

Protecting children is EVERYONE’S responsibility – should you have any concerns relating to the safety and welfare of a child at the school you should immediately contact our designated person(s) for safeguarding:

Mrs Potts – Family and Pupil Support Coordinator & Designated Safety Lead (DSL)

Mrs Cavanagh – Headteacher

Miss Warsap – Deputy Headteacher

Mrs Dootson – Assistant Headteacher

SCHOOL SYSTEMS

As a school we use the online safeguarding monitoring system, CPOMS to log and monitor any safeguarding concerns or incidents and we are also an Operation Encompass school.

ONLINE SAFETY

Talking to your child – openly, and regularly – is the best way to help keep them safe online.
