At Holy Rosary RC Primary, we ensure that our children are given opportunities to develop age-appropriate knowledge and understanding through our existing curriculum offer. This enables children to experience and understand these characteristics in context. This resource supports children in recognising character strengths such as resilience, creativity, teamwork and perseverance and drive their curiosity to learn. This resource also enables children to see how these people of many faiths and cultures have influenced our lives now. They also get to explore how these relate to our own faith and cultures. As a school, we have mapped these inspiration people across our Curriculum to create further links to modern life. All year groups celebrated by engaging in activities such as family portraits, School family logos and creating Parent guides. |
