Mission, Visions & Values

Holy Rosary School is a Roman Catholic School which serves the parish of Holy Rosary. The school works hard to ensure that each child, and their family, are valued, welcomed and cared for.

As a Catholic school we pride ourselves on the fact that school life, at Holy Rosary, is based on Christ’s love, care and compassion.

We express our faith in all that we do and always try our best to ensure we make the most of everyday.

We feel it is important that people see our strong religious education and our commitment to collective worship and see the Catholic life of the school in everything we do.

Our Mission Statement:

Our Aim:

To develop and foster the qualities of mind, body and spirit, in ways that encourage each child to be actively involved in discovering themselves, others and the environment. Our aim is to ensure that we nurture the wholeness of each and every child.

Our Vision:

Through the teaching, learning and the environment provided, our vision is that our children will become happy, confident, compasionate citizens, prepared for their future

Our Values:

At Holy Rosary we have 5 core values,which support our Mission Statement. These values were decide by the children and staff of Holy Rosary. We strive to live with these 5 values at the heart of everything we do.

Our Values are

Faith, Love, Joy, Committed, Belong

Each of our values have a linked piece of Scripture, image and a definition of what the value means to us at Holy Rosary.

Faith

'We have faith in God and each other.’

Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done. Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.”

Love

‘We do everything in love.’

Joy

‘We find joy in all that we do.’

Committed

‘We are committed to each other and achieving our best.’

Belong

'We belong to one family.’

For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.
